Chelsea vs Barcelona: Assured Line-Ups


The Blues will be working on winning their first leg against Barcelona to have an advantage over the Spanish Giants in the Champions League round of 16 as they go head to head in the Stamford Bridge Stadium today.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has released his starting line up and he has decided to call back a few and he has decided to recall Thibaut Courtois in between the sticks with Caballero on the bench.

After being rested for FA Cup final win against Manchester United on Friday night Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen also get recalled to the Conte line up to play Barcelona.

In the defence position Conte keeps Gary Cahill on the bench as he will be starting from the substitutes with N’Golo Kante starting the game in the midfield position after a rest against Hull City.

Olivier Giroud is dropped to the bench while Eden Hazard has been recalled to the squad starting as a false 9 as he supports the attack with Alvaro Morata starting up front.

With the information on the Barcelona starting line up, the Head Coach starts Lionel Messi as he supports the attack alongside Andreas Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic to bolster the attack as Luis Suarez starts the game up front.
