Arsene Wenger’s men finally regained winning ways after tgeir victory over Watford at the Emirates Stadium 3-0 today.
The Gunners opened the game well and scored their first goal in the 8th minute, It was a beautiful free kick from Mesut Ozil and it met the head of Shkodran Mustafi as he headed one in to make it 1-0.
Arsenal made it two in the 59th minute when Henrikh Mkhitaryan threw in a through ball for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the striker beat the keeper to make it 2-0.
Watford had the chance to gain kne back with a spot kick given away by Ainsley Maitland-Niles on the spot, but Petr Cech was not ready to break his clean sheet as he caught the penalty taken by Troy Denney’s to maintain their two goal advantage.
Their three points was sealed as they made it a three goal lead in the 77th minute of the game as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang teed-up Henrikh Mkhitaryan and thanks to bad goalkeeping by the Watford goalkeeper they were able to make it three.
Though they remain sixth on the table they were able to take the victory today and now they are eight points behind fifth place Chelsea with Tottenham 10 points ahead.
