Newcastle 2-1 Arsenal: Lacazette Strike Not Enough For Arsenal
Arsene Wenger’s men had yet another loss and this time to Newcastle as they came from behind to win the game 2-1 at St James’ Park.
The Gunners started the game well and they opened the scoring in the 14th minute of the game wgen Aubameyang found Alexandre Lacazette with a fine cross and he colleges one in to make it 1-0.
Then not long after Newcastle levelled the score line and made it 1-1 in the 29th minute of the game as Ayoze Perez gotnin front of Mustafi to sweep home DeAndre Yedlin’s cross and headed it past Petr Cech.
Arsenal held possession in the second half but foindnit difficult to create goal chances and as predicted Newcastle had tyeur chance and made it 2-1 with a nice one from Matt Ritchie as he fired one in at the 68th minute of the game following a sloppy defending from Arsenal.
Arsenal tried but couldn’t get a goal back and so they have another away defeat that leaves us sixth on tge Premier League table and six points behind fifth place Chelsea.
