Arsene Wenger’s men played good and Gunners striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the match to send Arsene Wenger off with his last win as Arsenal manager over Huddersfield at the John Smiths Stadium.
Huddersfield started the game on a good note and a better side but Arsenal grew in to the game and and opened the goals shortly before the end of the first half.
A team goal indeed following a good move that involved Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette led to Aubameyang sliding home at the far post to make it 1-0 in the 38th minute.
After the break Huddersfield put out their all and were very dangerous in the second half and also Danny Welbeck and Lacazette had good chances to increase the lead but were denied by the Huddersfield goalkeeper.
Huddersfield continued to push for a goal to make it levelled but Arsenal’s David Ospina denied all attempts on goal asbhe also had a fantastic save in stoppage time to keep their thre points intact at the end of the game.
This win sees Arsene Wenger off in style with a win and also it meams they eventually have a win away from home in 2018
